8th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum
On October 2-5, 2018, LLC NPC VTD participated in the 8th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.
Visitors and participants of the Forum were able to get acquainted with achievements in in-line inspection and solutions in detection and elimination of pipeline defects.
A new set of tools for inspection of line part of 1420 mm main pipelines was presented at NPC VTD booth. This set of tools is indigenously developed. The key innovation of this equipment is combination of basic magnetic method with acoustic, which enables to make the inspection capabilities wider:
- detection of small cracks in early stages;
- assessment of pipeline coating integrity;
- accurate sizing of corrosion defects.
Moreover, new equipment for inspection of small size pipelines was located at the booth.
Open format of communication between the participants and visitors of the Forum contributed to development of new business contacts.
