Works on an international pipeline section
On June 14, 2018, LLC NPC VTD has successfully finished the in-line inspection works on Izborsk – Inčukalns UGS main pipeline Dn 720 mm.
This pipeline with total length of 208,9 km lies in the territories of three counties:
- Russian Federation: under operation of Gazprom transgaz St.Petersburg;
- Estonia: under operation of Elering AS;
- Latvia: under operation of AS Conexus Baltic Grid.
For the field work execution LLC NPC VTD used a complete set of in-line inspection tools including: cleaning pig, electronic geometry pig, magnetic cleaning pig, MFL inspection tool with introscopic body and TFI inspection tool.
Well-coordinated cooperation of pipeline operating companies personnel and NPC VTD team made it possible to finish the ILI works with proper quality and on time.
